OTHER INFO - This is the original Allison Bass Boat that broke the 100 mph barrier in 1979. I found it rotting behind someone's garage in 1982 and restored it back to original condition. this boat was talked about in the 30th anniversary edition of Bassmaster. It was also pictured on the back of the 1980 Allison brochure running wide open with a large spoiler on the back, I never found the spoiler but it has the original 79 motorguide trolling motor and all seats are original. The fastest I ever had the balls to go was around 90mph and it was great, couldn't see the tach because I was to scared to look down at it. It had a Hot Foot throttle and trim tilt in the wheel (ahead of the time I would say) and a center console weight forward. I would own another Allison but I don't think I will ever get rid of my 79. |
